This evening I got a phone call from my sister Savannah. Before I ever answered the phone something didn't feel right I just knew something was bad. I'm not sure if it was because the last time she called was to tell my my grandmother died, but anyways, I answered... And she said Mom has cancer.. I didn't say anything. I didnt know how. It just took me back to when I was ten. My mom had uterus cancer 19 years ago. She was in stage 5. The tumor on her uterus was the size of a baseball. They found it when she was giving birth to my youngest sister Savannah.
But although she was stage 5 of this nasty cancer she beat it. Has been in remission for I don't know how long... So now It starts all over with Lung cancer. I just feel so useless, sad, mad all off the above. She has already said that she is not doing Chemo thearpy this time. She said she done it once and is not doing it again. And feels that when it's her time to go she is going without a fight. It's so hard to even think of this and I can't imagine how she feels but she is in very good spirits. probally because im a blubberring mess for the both of us. But it's just so hard when it's your mom. And I just feel so horrible for my sister that is only 18 years old.
Hopefully we can all get threw this and see what tomorrow brings!!!

Oh Rachel- I'm so sorry! I truely have a hate for cancer!! We will keep your Mom in our prayers- and your whole family. I can't imagine having to go through all the same emotions again that you had to 19 years ago, but i bet those 19 years you've had with her have been wonderful! Keep us posted- and let me know if you need anything!!
Rachel, I am so sorry. That is such hard news to receive. I'll remember you and your family in my prayers
Rachel, my heart goes out to you, I am so sorry. If you need anything please let me know!
It's crazy how one phone call can turn your world upside down. I'm sorry your family has to go through that. We love you!
How are you feeling today? I'm sorry that you and your family have to go through this. Did they catch it early on? Does she have a change to survive it?
I know you'll get through it, even though I'm sure it will be hard. Just know that you have your ward family here by you if you need anything.
Thanks guys it really means alot... She goes back to the doctor tomorrow and I guess they will tell her more then.
