Answered Prayers!!!!

My mom called me this morning and said that yesterday she went for a second opionion and more detailed testing. She does have a spot on her lung but it's non-maligment, which means, No cancer!!!!! I was very excited to hear such good news. And I want to thank all of you who expressed concern about my mom. And thankyou for all your prayers and ya'll mean the world to me and I'm very lucky to have a ward family like you guys!!!!

A sad day

This evening I got a phone call from my sister Savannah. Before I ever answered the phone something didn't feel right I just knew something was bad. I'm not sure if it was because the last time she called was to tell my my grandmother died, but anyways, I answered... And she said Mom has cancer.. I didn't say anything. I didnt know how. It just took me back to when I was ten. My mom had uterus cancer 19 years ago. She was in stage 5. The tumor on her uterus was the size of a baseball. They found it when she was giving birth to my youngest sister Savannah.
But although she was stage 5 of this nasty cancer she beat it. Has been in remission for I don't know how long... So now It starts all over with Lung cancer. I just feel so useless, sad, mad all off the above. She has already said that she is not doing Chemo thearpy this time. She said she done it once and is not doing it again. And feels that when it's her time to go she is going without a fight. It's so hard to even think of this and I can't imagine how she feels but she is in very good spirits. probally because im a blubberring mess for the both of us. But it's just so hard when it's your mom. And I just feel so horrible for my sister that is only 18 years old.
Hopefully we can all get threw this and see what tomorrow brings!!!

Words from my mother in law

Well like most you of I stayed up last night watching the election and hoping and praying that Mccain would pull threw but all along I just knew that Obama would win and my worst night mares came true... He won ;o( . I just sat on my couch in disbelief and just really quiet for a moment and then I had to call the one person that I am really close to and give her the news I knew she was asleep but I didn't care. My mother in law... So indeed I did wake her up and gave her the news. She said that she wasn't surprized but she also told me that this is the signs of the times and from here on out she believes that things are going to go down hill from here and urging me to get our food storage squared away, pray with your family, Do all the things that the lord wants you to do and most of all Hold your family tight and don't let go..
So I just wanted to share this message with all of you guys and pray that we will pull threw the next 4 years.....

Noah's First Hair Cut

Noah had his first hair cut yesterday. And he also starts nursury today! AWWW, where does the time go??? My baby is growing too fast!

Snakes!

Let me just tell you a lil about my day...

Well I was off taking Christian to Erin Lowdens house for there primary get together this afternoon. Well after I drop him off We are driving down 102 and Logan is in the back in his car seat and he starts saying Snake. And I ignore him at first and then he says snake again, So then Im thinking maybe he had a plastic snake in the back of the car, So still not really alarmed. So I'm still driving then he say's snake moving. I said WHAT!!!!!. So I pulled over as soon as I could to see what in the world was going on, got out opened the door still didnt see anything so I jumped up to look, sure enough a SNAKE!!!

Lets rewind a bit..... Chris earlier in the day went up to his work to meet a friend that was giving him a bunch of boxes for when we move. So there were tons of boxes folded down in he back of the car. So I guess that's where the snake came from It was laying right on the edge of the box right where Logans foot was. OMG! I was a mess. I opened up the back hatch trying to get the stinkin boxes out and mainly that certain one but the stupid snake kept moving I was freaking out and Poor Logan was freaking out I think bc I was. Well I fianlly got that one box out of the car and threw it down on the concrete and when I did another snake came slithering on out. Im standing there like I have Ants in pants hooping and hollering. Oh my goodness I was so disgusted... I was on my way to sign sealed and delieved for there scrapbooking rummage sale. But needless to say I hurried my butt home so I could tell Chris to get the rest of the boxes out of the car. And I was so paranoid when I was driving home. I just felt like there were snakes all over me.. ughghh!! So when I got back home, Chris did take the rest of the boxes out and luckily no more snakes.
Rest assure there is never a dull moment in the life of a Benefield!!!
